Thomas A. Easton

Thomas A. Easton (nato il 17 luglio 1944) è un insegnante e noto critico e autore di fantascienza. Si è ritirato dall'incarico di professore al Thomas College of Maine nel 2014 e ora insegna part-time al Mount Ida College di Newton, MA. Easton ha conseguito una laurea in biologia presso il Colby College e un dottorato in biologia teorica presso l'Università di Chicago. Ha scritto la rubrica di recensioni di libri sulla rivista di fantascienza Analog Science Fiction and Fact dal 1979 al 2009. Appare spesso alle convention di fantascienza dell'area di Boston. Il suo lavoro su temi scientifici e futuristici è apparso su numerose riviste, da Astronomy a Robotics Age. I suoi ultimi libri di saggistica sono Careers in Science (VGM, 4a ed., 2004), Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Controversial Issues in Science, Technology, and Society (McGraw-Hill Dushkin, 8a ed., 2008) e Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Controversial Environmental Issues (McGraw-Hill Dushkin, 12a ed., 2007).
